Guthrie is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist in Cortland, NY to perform Radiographic procedures under radiologist direction and imaging leadership. The role emphasizes patient safety, QA, and adherence to established protocols in a busy radiology department.

The technologist will participate in on-call coverage as needed and may supervise students during clinical rotations, ensuring proper technique and safety standards are met.

Qualificações

• Performs Radiographic procedures following radiologist protocols.
• Maintains patient safety during procedures and workflows.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment per annual competencies.
• Supervises and/or instructs students when applicable.

Summary:

The diagnostic technologist, under the direction of a radiologist and imaging leadership, with minimum supervision, must maintain the daily function of the Diagnostic Radiology department, performing a variety of X-Ray procedures.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year preferred as a registered technologist.

Education & Licenses:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. AAS degree preferred.
• ARRT(R) Certification required within six months
• For NY sites: NYS DOH License for Radiologic Technologist

Essential Functions:

1. 1. Performs Radiographic procedures using proper Radiologist protocols and standard workflows based on annual competencies.
2. 2. Practices safe patient care
3. 3. Performs proper equipment upkeep, including daily QA procedures
4. 4. Utilizes radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.
5. 5. Additional duties as assigned and warranted
6. 6. On Call shifts where applicable

Salary Min $32.60 Max $51.63 plus per diem premium
