UNC Health Care, through UNC Medical Center’s Diagnostic Radiology department in Chapel Hill, NC, seeks radiologic technologists per diem to provide diagnostic imaging and patient care.
You will prepare for and assist radiologists in complex radiographic procedures, administer contrast and medications per regulations, and ensure safety, accuracy, and quality across imaging workflows. Prior ARRT credentialing and BLS are required.

Provides and teaches diagnostic procedures in the field of radiologic imaging. Maintains knowledge concerning radiation protection and safety in addition to general and electrical safety, infection control, TB and standard precautions. Prepares for and assist the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures. Prepares and administers contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Performs patient assessments and provides patient care. Evaluates the appropriateness of examination and assess the quality of radiographic images.
