Aptiva Health in Hebron, KY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist who will operate a Digital X-ray and work directly with patients to ensure comfort and calm throughout imaging. You will interview patients, explain procedures and position them appropriately for high-quality results.

A qualified candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and licensed as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least a 2-year degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for imaging to provide high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Address patient concerns during procedures and explain the x-ray process clearly.
• Maintain calm and professional demeanor to ensure patient comfort.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare professionals to relay results and concerns.
• Troubleshoot equipment to prevent downtime and delays.
• Safely operate C-arm imaging system per protocols and safety standards.
• Pre-screen patients for contraindications before procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to new technologists when needed.
• Handle high-stress environments calmly while delivering quality care.
