Tepeyac Community Health Center in Denver, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic exams while ensuring patient safety, dignity, and privacy. You will operate digital radiography systems, document in EMR, and coordinate imaging with providers and partners.

Cross-training may support clinical and administrative duties. Requirements include an associate degree or higher, ARRT(R) certification, and BLS.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT(R) certification and registration required.
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain before starting.
• One year outpatient/ambulatory radiography experience preferred.
• Experience with digital radiography, PACS, TigerView, and EMR preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review imaging orders, verify patient identity and indication before exams.
• Explain procedures, reduce anxiety, and obtain patient cooperation using respectful communication.
• Position patients and select exposure factors appropriate to each exam.
• Perform routine radiographic examinations within scope of practice.
• Review images for quality and documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Coordinate with providers and radiology partners to resolve issues.
• Maintain radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain accurate demographics in the EMR.
• Assist with patient scheduling, referrals, and outside record requests.
