Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures across age groups with adherence to established protocols. You will position patients, select imaging protocols, and ensure equipment is used safely and effectively.

The role emphasizes patient education, dose reduction practices, and maintaining competency in related imaging components. No prior experience is required, but ARRT and BCLS certifications are needed on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
• ARRT certification required on hire and BCLS certification on hire

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all radiological procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies for all related components.
• Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• Adhere to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
• Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
