Job summary

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist for the Westchester outpatient clinic inside Prairie Medical Center, IL. The role includes performing radiographic imaging, ensuring patient safety, and supporting fluoroscopic procedures.

Mon-Fri schedule, no weekends or holidays, with a competitive benefits package. The candidate should have ARRT RT certification, IEMA and IDNS certifications, and a valid X-Ray Technologist program background.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited X-Ray Technologist Program.
• ARRT license as an RT is required.
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) certification is required.
• Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety (IDNS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for radiologic procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Maintain working knowledge in the use of PACS, DR, and CR radiologic equipment.
• Use C-Arm where appropriate.
• Prepare medications for, and assist the physician with Fluoroscopic procedures.
• Travel as required to other satellite outpatient clinic as needed for coverage.
