Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska is hiring a Radiologic Technologist at OPA Lake Otis for a full-time position. The role involves performing high-quality radiologic exams in a safe, patient-centered environment and supporting providers across OR and routine imaging workflows.

You will prepare patients, operate C-arm imaging, ensure ALARA compliance, and maintain accurate records while contributing to a collaborative orthopedic care team.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required.
• At least 1 year of X-ray tech experience.
• Associates degree in radiological technology from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure safety per ALARA principles.
• Operate radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images and adjust factors for image quality.
• Download, label, and transfer images to PACS per protocol.
• Assist providers during procedures and ensure patient comfort and positioning.
• Maintain equipment and logs, perform quality control, and comply with safety standards.
