Health Care Administrators Association seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, including plain films, fluoroscopy, portable, OR exams, and Bone Density scans. You will explain procedures, educate patients, and ensure safety while maintaining image quality and PACS submission.

The role requires completing a Radiology Technology program, valid ARRT-BLS certifications, and stamina for long shifts. Night availability may be required with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
  • Valid professional licenses and certifications, including BLS and ARRT-R Radiography or Bone Density, as per state requirements.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting and repositioning patients and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Explain procedures and provide patient education to ensure understanding.
  • Transport, position, and prepare patients for imaging exams while verifying identity and following safety protocols.
  • Administer contrast media within scope and monitor patient during procedures.
  • Ensure high-quality images are correctly submitted to PACS, maintaining equipment functionality and safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized department, and perform limited emergent CT procedures if needed.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines to prevent unnecessary exposure.
  • Perform other assigned duties to support the imaging department.
