Casper Medical Imaging PC seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray, fluoroscopic, mammography, and CT equipment. Reports To: Clinical Radiology Manager
Successful candidates will be required to obtain other modality registries if not already obtained upon hire.
This position is responsible for operating X-ray, fluoroscopic, mammography, and computed tomography equipment that assists radiologists and/or physicians with diagnosing and/or treating disease and/or injury.
Associate degree in radiological technology from accredited X-ray technologic program. Current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license. BLS certified.
One to three years of experience as X-ray technologist preferably in medical practice environment.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration required.
Radiological equipment used for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Radiological unit. Exposure to disease, radiation, biohazard materials and toxic chemicals while performing job duties.
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an X-Ray technologist such as standing six to eight hours per day. Involves bending, stooping, squatting, reaching above the shoulders, twisting, turning, kneeling, and pushing, and pulling. Heavy lifting 75+ lbs. required to move equipment and transfer patients. Occasional stress when working with anxious patients or difficult exams.
