Responsibilities include preparing rooms, explaining procedures, and handling specimens and tests as part of comprehensive care. Requires ARRT/VA licensure with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; ARRT certification/VA licensure preferred.
• 1 year radiologic technician experience preferred.
• ARRT or VA licensure upon hire required.

Responsabilités

• Positioning and performing X-ray exams ordered by provider.
• Preparing and disinfecting exam rooms and equipment.
• Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
• Securing patient information and maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment per laws and standards.
• Reporting important information to the physician.
• Assisting the practitioner with examinations and procedures; preparing patients for exams.
• Triage and assessment of patients; collecting and documenting vital signs.
