Desert Imaging Centers of Texas in El Paso is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our outpatient team on a PRN/part-time basis. You will perform high-quality MRI scans, position patients for comfort and safety, and monitor imaging quality to support diagnostic accuracy.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or eligibility required.
• Experience in outpatient MRI setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Educate and communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Accurately document exams and maintain records in PACS/RIS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team members to support efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control procedures.

Our Desert Imaging Center located on Lee Trevino Drive in El Paso is expanding the current operating to offer patients access to services on Sundays! We are seeking skilled Technologist(s) to join our team on a part-time or PRN basis for weekend shift coverage. This is a great opportunity to earn extra income while providing patients a convenient weekend appointment time to complete their much needed imaging scans. Part-time/PRN employees provide the team advanced notice of availability to work shifts that fits within their personal schedule.
