Job summary

UnityPoint Health in West Des Moines, IA seeks a Radiology Technologist for a full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule at UnityPoint Clinic. You will perform diagnostic imaging, support providers, and ensure safety and quality standards in an ambulatory care setting.

The role requires ARRT registration, Iowa permit, and prior outpatient experience; EPIC familiarity is a plus. UnityPoint offers comprehensive benefits and a culture of belonging.

Qualifications

ARRT-registered radiology technologist with Iowa permit required.
Prior outpatient/ambulatory setting experience preferred.
Familiarity with EPIC EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic x-ray exams with proper exposure techniques.
Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
Apply radiation protection and safety standards.
Maintain sterile technique and prevent cross-contamination.
Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment.
Maintain imaging records and referral logs.
Store and review x-ray films and images promptly.
