RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Lead Radiologic Technologist in New Brunswick, NJ. This full-time role involves providing specialized imaging for medical interpretation while ensuring patient comfort and minimizing radiation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Providing radiographic images or positioning fluoroscopic equipment.
• Minimization of radiation exposure.
• Ensuring patient comfort.
• Selection and preparation of any contrast media.
• Processing radiographic images going to PACS.
• Patient identification for correct body part on radiographic images.
• Processing x-ray requests.
• Assisting in instruction of student technologists.
• Demonstrating technical art to student radiographers.

Pay Range: $50.93 - $61.65 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

To provide a specialized image of a body part for purposes of medical interpretation.

• Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience strongly preferred.

• Providing radiographic images or positioning fluoroscopic equipment, as instructed.
• Minimization of radiation exposure.
• Ensuring patient comfort.
• Selection and preparation of any contrast media used in conjunction with radiographic examinations as well as special examinations.
• Processing radiographic images going to PACS.
• Patient identification and indication of correct body part on all radiographic images.
• Processing x‑ray requests.
• Assists in instruction of student technologists.
• Is able to demonstrate the technical art to student radiographers.
