Job summary

Prisma Health's Radiology-PMH team at Patewood Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC, is seeking a radiologic professional to perform a variety of imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality documentation. The role requires ARRT registration, SCRQSA certification for SC, CPR and a certified radiology program; no patient assignment is necessary.

You will operate PACS/EPIC and ensure timely, accurate coding of procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Certification program completion of an accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT Registered is required.
• SCRQSA certification required for team members working in South Carolina.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation.
• Quality check images before sending to radiologist with proper markers and information for dictation.
• Document additional information in PACS or EPIC as needed and verify studies before archiving.
• Arrive patient, charge procedure and supplies when exam is completed, and ensure patient safety and smooth workflow.
• Operate PACS/EPIC systems and respond to codes and emergencies as needed.
