Job summary

Responsibilities

• Competently performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and general fluoroscopic.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history and address questions.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with radiation protection in accordance with methods.
• Identifies patient, labels images, ensures exam accuracy and processes images for quality.
• Assists, communicates and consults with the Radiologists.
• Prepares and maintains records and enters information into the radiology information system; documents billing codes.
• Performs patient positioning and transporting duties, with lifting and pushing/pulling as needed.
• Provides age-appropriate care and demonstrates growth & development knowledge for patients served.
