Job summary

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images for Radiologists to diagnose and manage patient conditions.

You will perform X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI, while ensuring a positive patient experience and accurate results. The role requires understanding workflow, positioning, and safety standards to support timely diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Medical Radiographer license in NE.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations (X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI) and obtain quality images.
• Explain procedures, obtain consent, and educate patients as needed.
• Ensure radiation safety and protection per standards; monitor equipment and settings.
• Capture complete patient history and document data for interpretation.
• Assess and escalate equipment issues; perform quality assessment of images.
