Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in radiology.
• Rad Tech with 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
• Determine technical, positioning, and shielding factors to obtain quality images and minimize radiation exposure per ALARA.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions or concerns.
• Observe patients for distress or difficulty and report incidents to appropriate staff.
• Assist in developing others through guidance and teaching within the radiological services team.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards and policies.
• Demonstrate professional work behavior and customer service in all interactions.
