Undisclosed in Minnesota is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under radiologist supervision and with independent judgment. The role spans general radiology, CT, Dexa, and mammography when applicable, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and QA.

The position requires operating imaging equipment, preparing images for interpretation, and ensuring infection control, patient comfort, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (New grads welcome, ARRT required within 3 months of hire)
• Or six months to one-year related experience and/or training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Anatomy & Physiology: Deep understanding of human anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, organ systems, and how they appear radiologically.
• Radiation Safety: ALARA principles, patient protection, and radiation physics.
• Pathology & Procedures: Recognizing disease, interpreting exam requests, and understanding imaging protocols for modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound).
• Safety & Quality Control: Maintaining equipment, infection control, and reporting safety events.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by Radiologist.
• Transport patient and position for required views.
• Operate equipment and adjust technical factors.
• Process digital images and prepare for interpretation.
• Provide radiation protection as per safety standards.
• Assist in injection of contrast media and monitor for reactions.
• Perform radiographic procedures in surgery suite as directed by protocols.
• Complete required computer work and scheduling duties.
