Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II for the Elmhurst Center for Health site. This full-time role runs 40 hours weekly with a 12pm–8:30pm shift, on-call schedule, and rotating weekends/holidays.

You will operate radiology equipment, assist physicians, explain procedures to patients, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with protocols and documentation systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• IEMA licensure or authorization to perform medical radiation.
• ARRT(R) certification candidate within 2 years of temporary license date.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
• Prior x-ray experience in a hospital setting preferred; familiarity with ACR/JCAHO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographs for diagnostic purposes as directed by radiologists.
• Assists physicians and staff with obtaining images and records using PACS or HIS.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and build trust.
• Delivers excellent customer service in all aspects of the job.
