Job summary
Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights seeks a Radiology Technologist ICC to support diagnostic imaging with a focus on orthopedic imaging, ensuring high-quality image acquisition and patient care.
You will prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, perform radiographic tests, and review radiographs for quality. Dual MA/phlebotomy responsibilities are included, with training provided, and timely submission of images to RIS.
Qualifications
- License: IEMA licensing required
- Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
- Certification: CPR certification required; ARRT registry eligible within 1 year of employment
- Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic procedures with a focus on orthopedic imaging and high-quality image acquisition
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure comfort
- Perform radiographic exams
- Role includes dual MA/phlebotomy responsibilities with training provided
- Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
- Submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
