Job summary

Qualifications

0–1 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience required.
ARRT certification required.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state.

Responsibilities

Perform radiographic procedures meeting quality standards and adherence to positioning guidelines.
Apply ALARA principles; participate in Image Gently/Image Wisely to minimize exposure.
Prepare patients, verify orders, identify patients, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
Ensure patient demographics are correctly documented and imaging documented in PACS.
Maintain imaging equipment; follow infection control protocols and ensure supplies are organized.
Inserts IV catheters for contrast injections when CT/MRI procedures are performed.
Communicate with peers, physicians, and staff to support patient care delivery.
Recognize and mitigate artifacts to ensure optimal image quality.
