Key duties include:
  • Operating imaging equipment to produce accurate images while minimizing radiation exposure, following ALARA guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, quality policies, and safety protocols.
  • Managing resources efficiently, including supplies and equipment.
  • Explaining procedures to patients, addressing concerns, and monitoring patient well-being during procedures.
  • Assisting in the development of team members and promoting professional practice.
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service and professional behavior in all interactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Technical Degree or Diploma in Radiology; new graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist certification from ARRT.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication skills, clinical competencies in radiography, and knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, PACS preferred).
  • Ability to handle physical activities such as standing, reaching, and patient contact, with the capacity to react quickly in emergencies.
