The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Radiology Technologist I to perform radiographic procedures with a solid grasp of anatomy and physiology, operating with initiative under minimal supervision. Role includes applying ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging in adults and children.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registry (or eligible), SC QC license, and BLS certification; 0–2 years of modality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration or registry eligible with ARRT.
• Licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association or eligible; temporary SCRQSA license acceptable with ARRT registration within 1 year.

Responsabilités

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations and Education : Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.Temporary B SCRQSA license acceptable but must obtain ARRT Radiology Registration within 1 year of hire date.
