Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Radiography program.
• Associates degree and one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Florida License in Radiography.
• ARRT registration in Radiography (R).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images for the Diagnostic Imaging department.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and verifies orders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and proper patient positioning.
• Performs image labeling and documentation accurately.
• Maintains safety and infection control policies.
• Assists with education of staff and students as needed.
• Maintains equipment QC and participates in safety training.
