Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license or temporary permit.
• Ability to perform routine imaging procedures with independent judgment within license scope.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine x-ray imaging, including portable and C-Arm procedures, within license scope.
• Verify that digital images are properly matched to patient and of diagnostic quality.
• Provide radiation protection according to safety standards.
• Select and operate imaging equipment and accessories per procedure.
• Enter documentation into RIS and EMR and maintain patient records.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes and scheduling.
• Perform daily equipment checks and ensure radiographic equipment is safe.
• Fulfill other duties including shift or on-call coverage.
