Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology or two years of related work experience.
• Hawaii Radiographer License required at hire; BLS certification at hire; ARRT Radiography required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic examinations in the radiology department, operating room, ED and patient rooms per protocol.
• Positions patients and selects technical factors to optimize imaging; reviews orders and prior studies.
• Assists radiologists and nurses; maintains patient safety and ALARA principles during procedures.
• Prepares sterile fields, contrast agents, and supplies; post-processes images for interpretation.
• Rotates on-call for General Radiology; participates in continuing education and departmental meetings.
