Job summary

North East Medical Services seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and assist in radiation therapy or radiopharmaceutical administration as needed. You will work with diverse patients, ensure image quality, and follow radiation safety protocols.

The role requires license, ARRT registration, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and clinicians. A supportive team environment and adherence to HIPAA are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiography education program.
• Current California CRT license.
• ARRT registration.
• Knowledge of radiologic techniques, positioning, and safety.
• Strong customer service and communication; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, position patients, and operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs.
• Interview patient to obtain procedure details and consent; gather pertinent information for physician.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Use positioning aids to obtain high-quality images.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Comply with radiation monitoring standards.
