Tidelands Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I to perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision, applying sound anatomical positioning and quality standards. You will administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes in adult and pediatric imaging, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

The role requires an associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT(R) certification, BLS within 30 days of hire, and at least one year of Rad Tech experience

• Understand and apply ALARA concepts in radiologic procedures.
• Demonstrate time management to handle exams efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members.

Responsabilités

• Perform radiographic procedures with appropriate positioning and anatomy.
• Use shielding and immobilization for patient safety.
• Document patient history and exam results in the HIS.
• Operate imaging equipment and select proper exposure factors.
• Maintain imaging equipment and assist with mentoring students or new hires.
