You will assist physicians with radiographs, ensure correct patient identification, support workflow improvements, and maintain a clean, safe imaging environment while upholding professional and regulatory

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or accredited Radiologic Technology Certificate.
• ARRT registration required upon hire in Maryland and within 90 days in Washington, DC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs in accordance with physician specifications and protocols.
• Ensure image quality, proper patient identification, and adherence to radiation safety standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, safety, and patient experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and manage supplies and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with patients to gather medical history, explain procedures, and provide support.
• Perform quality control on equipment and report issues promptly.
• Document patient care activities and distribute images for interpretation in a timely manner.
• Uphold professionalism, adhere to ethical standards, and comply with safety and regulatory policies.
