Tower Health in Reading, PA is seeking Radiologic Technologists to perform radiographic procedures and generate diagnostic images for licensed practitioners. The role requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety, with patient-centered care and clear communication as core skills.

Qualified candidates will have a post high school diploma, BLS, and ARRT certification or eligibility before start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioner.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Maintain accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique with radiation safety.
• Prepare, administer and document contrast media and medications per regulations and policy.
• Communicate effectively to assess and care for patients.

Job Summary

Available Rad Tech Positions:

• M-F Primarily Rotating Day Shift Hours; Every Other Weekend (Rotating Shift) (*Start Times Vary - Includes Holiday and On Call Assignments)

The Radiologic Technologist:

• Perform radiographic procedures, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
• Prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy.
• Remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills.
