Location: Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway

Shift: Thursday - Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with call

Experience: 2+ years in a hospital setting preferred. Looking for Rad Techs comfortable in OR and Fluoro, in the process of obtaining CT registry, or with some CT training but not yet certified.

JOB SUMMARY

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under supervision of a Radiologist, following protocols for diagnosis of disease and injury.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures efficiently, maintaining standards
  • Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and proper positioning
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation policies; maintain sterile techniques as needed
  • Maintain equipment and work area, coordinate with engineers and physicists
  • Report issues, assist with supply inventory, and ensure safety screening
  • Document procedures and maintain records according to policies
