Job summary

Midwest Refuah Health Center is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging within our Family & Internal Medicine department at 6374 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago. This role focuses on performing diagnostic radiographic examinations and assisting with patient flow in a community-based setting.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification and strong patient service skills, with experience in EMR systems and collaborative clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years radiology experience in outpatient/urgent care settings preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic examinations and explain procedures.
• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams per orders and established radiologic standards.
• Position patients and operate radiologic equipment safely.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and use protective equipment.
• Review images for quality and completeness prior to interpretation.
• Maintain radiology equipment and report malfunctions.
• Ensure compliance with radiology regulations and standards.
• Document radiology services accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain radiology logs and QA documentation.
• Assist with accreditation and regulatory compliance.
