Job summary

Cayuga Health in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Dx radiography exams with a focus on radiation safety and high-quality patient care. You will work as part of the Imaging team, providing excellent service to patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT credentials, NYS license, and strong communication skills. Onsite schedule includes day/evening shifts with FLEX options and competitive wages with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent
• ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging and NYS license

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Imaging department procedures and protocols.
• Capable of setting acquisition factors for optimal image quality.
• Capable of positioning patient for optimal images.
• Capable of following Radiologist protocols for specific exams and evaluating image quality.
• Follows physician instructions and documents protocol changes as needed.
• Adheres to patient identification policies and imaging department policies.
• Maintains safety and radiation protection standards.
