Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography and GI studies, with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.

The candidate must graduate from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, possess ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS, with no experience required. Employment is on-site at the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and gastrointestinal studies, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record keeping.
• Follows established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
