Job summary

American Family Care, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease.

You will also assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as patient registration and medical assisting duties. Responsibilities include positioning patients, applying ALARA radiation protection techniques, processing images, and maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred.
• Licensed per state regulations; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process images and prepare for physician review.
• Operate digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Support provider with prescribed treatments as needed.
• Maintain equipment and records of work performed.
• Serve as Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant if needed.
