Job summary

TridentCare seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities. The role involves transmitting images to Radiologists and Cardiologists for interpretation, maintaining equipment, and upholding health and licensing requirements.

Successful candidates will have ARRT certification, at least an associate or bachelor's level education, and be able to communicate effectively with peers and clients.

Qualifications

• ARRT R.T.-T certification is required.
• Licenses/health requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-Rays and transmit to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs and transmit to Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional communication with staff and clients.
• Keep equipment clean and schedule maintenance with Supervisors/Bio-med.
• Assist with special projects and train other technologists as needed.

Job description

ROLE

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform and process X-Rays and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
2. Perform EKGs and transmit EKGs to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
3. Demonstrate regular attendance.
4. Communicate efficiently and perform professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
5. Maintain required State licenses/ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Attend meetings as required.
2. Connect and disconnect Holter Monitors.
3. Submit accurate and timely time sheets as per protocol.
4. Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance schedule through Supervisors and Bio-med. Other responsibilities including: scanning, filing, faxing, photocopying, and mailings.
5. Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisors/Managers
6. Train other technologists as required.
