Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology - 40 Hours - Afternoons

Join us as a Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Radiology - 40 Hours - Afternoons at Henry Ford Health.

Position Details
  • Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 3PM to 11:30PM, including weekends and holidays
  • Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • Benefit eligible
Responsibilities
  1. Take radiologic films providing quality images to physicians for diagnosis
  2. Prepare and position patients and select exposure factors accurately
  3. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations
  4. Observe patient during procedure and report abnormalities
  5. Monitor protocols and recommend updates
  6. Follow radiation safety procedures to minimize unnecessary exposure
  7. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS
  8. Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions
  9. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department
  10. Position patients and select parameters accurately
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree within 6 months of hire
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • ARRT Radiography credential within 12 months of hire
