Job summary

OHSU's Diagnostic Imaging department seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform all phases of diagnostic imaging in a busy hospital setting. You will operate X-ray equipment, ensure safety, and contribute to image quality for accurate diagnosis.

The role requires ARRT certification, OBMI license, and BLS within 30 days. You will rotate through exams, train students, and support patient transport in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program eligible to take ARRT Radiography exam.
• Must hold OBMI license; temporary for student hires and permanent for registered hires.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality images with accurate exposure factors and safety awareness.
• Rotates through general radiology exams to meet workflow needs.
• Positions patients for diagnostic radiology exams per procedures and machine requirements.
• Develops images and provides them to radiologists for diagnosis.
• Assists in training Radiologic Technology Students and supervises as required.
