Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health in Nashua is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology, including trauma and orthopedic exams, while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will maintain imaging quality, assist in throughput, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards.

The role requires AMA-approved Radiology Technology education, NH/MA licensure eligibility, ARRT(R) eligibility within one year, and strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program and eligible for ARRT certification within one year.
  • State licensure as Radiologic Technologist in NH or MA, depending on location.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong patient-care focus.
  • Preferred 1–2 years of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient information and reconcile physician requests with exams ordered.
  • Complete required consents and questionnaires before exams.
  • Perform Diagnostic Radiology exams including trauma and orthopedic.
  • Inspect images for quality and present to Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Transport patients to and from care areas and assist in training new staff.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with RIS and PACS software and ensure HIPAA compliance.
