Job summary

The candidate must perform radiographic exams, maintain records, and participate in quality assurance while adapting to growth and changes in patient care operations.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT in Radiography.
• Completion of CT/XR training program.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Flu vaccine required; ARRT CT and XR cert required.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiographic examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation, applying radiation protection principles.
• Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas.
• Maintain patient records and files.
• Assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program.
• Pursue continuing education for professional development.
• Transfer patient to and from radiology.
• Rotate shifts as required.
• Perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor.
• Follow policies and procedures as set by SEARHC Administration.
• Assist in general hygiene of department and self.
• Work well in situations of stress.
• Be willing to take call and report to work within 20 minutes.
• Able and willing to perform other duties as assigned.
