Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska, seeks a full-time Radiologic Technologist to support the Radiology team. The role involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures, working under a radiologist and department head, with a rotating schedule that includes weekends.

PSLF loan forgiveness is available to eligible employees. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiology program and Nebraska licensure; 1 year of experience preferred but new grads will be considered.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Strong communication with patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging.
• Position patient and adjust immobilization devices for proper views.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and staff to ensure care continuity.
• Move equipment and patients to set exposure factors and positions.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain infection control, QA and Medicare standards.
• Assess correlation of clinical history with tests.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
