Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a staff Radiologic Technologist for General Radiology/CT. You will perform diagnostic imaging on patients of all ages and educate families about procedures, with minimal supervision and strict quality adherence.

Required are an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, Ohio licensure, ARRT in Radiography, and CPR, plus strong communication skills to coordinate care across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences is required.
• Ohio radiologic license is required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality diagnostic images on patients of all ages using radiologic equipment including EKG and patient registration.
• Educate patients and families about procedures performed within the center.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards and departmental goals for patient satisfaction and accuracy.
• Work with other departments to ensure a smooth continuum of care and effective issue resolution.
• Rotate shifts and floats to Main Campus and South depending on department needs.
