Mayo Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist for the Radiology department. You will produce high-quality images for physician interpretation, adhere to safety guidelines, and support efficient patient care.

Flexibility to staff different locations and shifts, including on-call duties, is required. ARRT Radiography certification is required; CT certification within 18–24 months of hire may be needed, along with state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred. ARRT certified in Radiography ARRT certified in CT within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees. Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership. Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure). BLS certification required within 30 days.
