Job summary

Mercy - Ozark, Arkansas seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography at a technical level with minimal supervision.

You will be responsible for imaging quality, operating radiographic equipment, and assisting with related duties. The role requires ARRT registry or eligibility and a license as dictated by Arkansas state rules, with ongoing patient care and safety in a fast paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed clinical hours.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure requirements vary by state; Arkansas requires Radiologic Technologist license where applicable.
• ARRT registry or registry eligible; achieved within 6 months of hire or within 1 year in Arkansas.
• Technical radiologic skills with basic anatomy understanding; ability to manipulate x-ray equipment and evaluate images.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and transport patients and to stand/walk continually.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision.
• Assume responsibility for procedures performed and ensure quality imaging.
• Operate radiographic equipment, processors, and related computers.
• Adapt to stressful situations and communicate effectively with patients and team.
