Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for diverse patient populations. The role requires ARRT registration and CPR certification, with the ability to work autonomously in a hospital setting.

You will perform various radiographic studies and interact tactfully with patients and staff, including pediatric and geriatric populations. Prior diagnostic radiology experience is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-registered.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs.
• Perform radiographic studies including intravenous, subdural, and arterial imaging as needed.
• Work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
• Provide care for a female population over 35 years of age.

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

REQUIRED:

1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

PREFERRED:

1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
