Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• At least six months' experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
• ARRT certification required; Active TN X-ray license and CPR certification required; Bone Density Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
• Takes x-rays following established procedures, ensuring patient safety and shielding.
• Ensures equipment is in working order and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Processes radiologic logs and related paperwork.
• Maintains examination rooms and stocks supplies.
• Develops, processes, and files radiologic film per site protocol.
• Performs venipuncture, arterial and capillary punctures as appropriate.
• Maintains required licenses and certifications including CPR.
