Job summary

MMC #1 in Meadville, PA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for full-time, third shift, on-site coverage. You will perform diagnostic imaging, follow protocols, and work with Radiologists and ER staff to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications include an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and current BLS certification; training in OR with c-arm/o-arm may be provided. Rotations include weekends.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider card.
• Stroke education if assigned to Neuro-Alert Team.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic images using established protocols and positioning to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Obtain adequate patient history, explain procedures to the patient, and address concerns.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and ensure proper exposure and correct labeling.
• Set techniques and expose appropriately based on patient age and body habitus.
• Collaborate with support staff and Radiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
