The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, a high school diploma, and ARRT certification. Onsite clinic environment with emphasis on patient comfort and accuracy.

Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include x-ray to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups.
The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Responsible for x-ray services as needed Under the direction of the clinical provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use. Will need to push patient in a wheelchair Patient Preparation and Rooming Inform technical staff of patient flow. Prepare patients for examination, which includes conducting interviews to verify patient information, record medical history; confirm purpose of visit; Perform preliminary physical tests (blood pressure, weight, temperature, etc.) for vital signs and elevate critical cases to the provider as needed. Conduct point of care testing as needed (i.e., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG); and provide patient information to providers. Administrative Responsible for maintenance of medical records and scanning charts to patient files. Conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up on care Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed.
