Job summary

McLeod Health seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to join our imaging team. This full-time role provides diagnostic radiography, patient comfort, and precise image capture in a day shift, Tuesday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, safe operation of radiographic equipment, image evaluation, and collaboration with physicians and radiologists to support quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Eligible for ARRT credentialing after program completion.
• Current South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Evaluate images to ensure they meet established quality standards for radiologist interpretation.
• Provide exceptional patient care while maintaining professionalism, dignity, and compassion.
• Maintain imaging equipment and monitor necessary supplies.
• Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, infection control, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of current radiologic technology, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Schedule: Full-Time | 72 Hours Biweekly

Shift: Day Shift

Hours: Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

We will collaborate closely with patients, physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate diagnostic images and support quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology; or
• Eligible for ARRT credentialing upon successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT certification required within 12 months of program completion.
• Current South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
