Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures under supervision for diagnosis and treatment. You will ensure patient safety, prepare and position patients, and maintain imaging records and equipment to high standards.

The ideal candidate has an accredited education in radiologic technology, ARRT-R certification and BLS, with preferred 1 year hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Radiologic Program.
• Experience: Prefer 1 year of hospital experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R Radiography, BLS, MRT license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol.
• Explain procedures and reassure patients.
• Maintain imaging records and documentation.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for exposures.
• Maintain equipment and department cleanliness and safety.
• Screen patients and ensure safety before procedures.
